Joe’s Score Card

That bought and paid for, goose-stepping piece of GOP crap, Joe Lieberpuke looks ahead to the following scenario:
lieberman-mcconjob Note that [Lieberman] says he would vote to proceed to the bill -- just not to move to final passage. There will be several turning points:
1. Cloture vote cutting off debate on the motion to proceed to the health care bill (60 votes);
2. Motion to proceed to the bill (50 votes, may be waived if we get cloture);
3. Amendments to modify the public option piece, e.g. to a trigger (likely requiring 60 votes);
4. Cloture vote to end debate on the bill and move to final passage (60 votes); and
5. Final passage of the bill (50 votes).
Lieberman says that he'll vote with Leadership through #1 and #2… [emphasis added]
Inserted from <TPM>
This worthless, scum sucking waste of skin plans to strike at step four and side with the Repuglicans.  Why?  Joe is the Senator from Aetna.  They have spent at least $1 million buying him over the years.
But another question has been bothering me.  When Harry Reid said he had sixty votes, there are two possibilities.  Either Liebercrap lied to Reid or Reid knew he didn’t have sixty, lied to us, and figured that he could blame Lieberstench.  I don’t smell a rat here.  I smell two.  If we do not get, as a very minimum, public option with opt out, let’s send them both to the unemployment line.

LIEberman is the most self-centered pig in Congress. He wants the power of a committee chairmanship, but refuses to cooperate with the caucus which enables him to have that power. Worse yet, he has turned his back on the people to favor big insurance. We progressives need to wage all out war on this guy and beat his rear end out of office next time he's up for re-election. DE-ELECT LIEBERMAN!

That won't be until 2012. :-(
